The automatic polymer preparation and dosing system has been commissioned

In the project we developed with the Turkey office of SNF, the world's largest polymer producer, an automatic polymer preparation and dosing system was commissioned for use in the decanter inlet of the sludge dewatering process in the olive oil factory. It is produced for dilution, homogenisation and proportional dosing of emulsion polymer for process requirements.

The signals from the flowmeters in the emulsion polymer and water line are evaluated in the PLC, and the polymer can be prepared at a concentration of 0.1-0.5%. The polymer, which is pre-mixed in the static mixer and then homogenized in the pre-preparation tank, is transferred to the storage tank with the help of an automatic valve. Once the prepared solution is sent to the storage tank, the preparation process can begin again. From the storage tank, the polymer is dosed into the decanter inlet by controlling the flow rate.
